Liber-China(Guangzhou) International Fashion Week Global Original Design Display Interpretation Of “5+1” Operation Mode

Liber-China(Guangzhou) International Fashion Week (hereinafter, the Guangzhou Fashion Week), which is founded in 2003, one of the most active exchange platform for Chinese original design, development and promotion. There are different design including clothes, shoes, bags, leather, jewelry etc.. We focus on independent original design and commercial landing, enlarge and integrate industry chain resources such as capital, industry and Commerce.

The Guangzhou Fashion Week is an international integrated service platform of global original designer of brand exhibition, promotion, operation, planning and dissemination.

Guangzhou Fashion Week have established strategic cooperative partnership with GTland Plaza and Liber Fashion in 2016. In order to promote the rapid development of the global original brand for the purpose, we will provide a dynamic publishing platform for global designers, and fashion week will play an important role in the upgrading of Guangzhou fashion industry. Guangzhou fashion week is located at the center of Guangzhou’s CBD, we are going to held the original design dynamic release show about 200 times throughout each season, and held many international original fashion brand static exhibition in the space with 50 thousand square meters.

At present, the Global Original Design Exhibition Committee has selected the original design brand both at home and abroad. The participating designers cover many countries such as Italy, France, the United States, the United Kingdom and some countries in Asia. In this exhibition, we can see a lot of new European brands of street-style, and various of foreign designers’ brands will make their first show in China. For example, designer MARGARET O’CONNOR who had made hats for LADY GAGA, French brands of ETUDES STUDIO, PAUL GISELE, EVA ZINGONI, etc., Italian brands of SPACE STYLE, MARY DAOLIA, TENAX, English brands of MAE MAZE, KARRO, THE OTTOMAN COLLETIO, etc.. In the Jewelry Show, the TIFFANY chief Chinese designer led nearly 20 international jewelry brands to appear, at the same time, there were also more than 40 domestic jewelry brands joined in. In addition, the international advanced custom brand Xishang and many international brands of shoes and bags which led by the leather goods brand Dubang have had a show during the time of the Guangzhou Fashion Week.

On the domestic front, some of the most famous designers such as QI GANG, LI XIAOYAN and CHEN WEN brought their brands of SEC-QI GANG, FANG FANG, CHENWEN STUDIO/D’ NIM to the show, also we have a lot of young designers after 80s or 90s, some new original designers from Hongkong, Taiwan, with their brands including LIZHEN DUYI, GW COUTURE, SHUR RUITZ, JIAMUYANGREXI, SIN’S SUIT, etc..

During the Guangzhou Fashion Week which is held in Guangzhou on April, in addition to the original design and global dynamic release show global original design exhibition, we also held a global conference and the global original design forum, global brand development forum, the China global original design industry flexible supply chain forum, the global leader of original fashion Roundtable and global original awards.

Now, a new concept of “5+1” is put forward by the Global original fashion Advisory Group of Guangzhou Fashion Week. It let Guangzhou Fashion Week really become a platform for fashion release and trading, so that the trend of the show can sync into the store, forming a perfect closed loop which as “trend release – order trading – consumer buying – what you see, what you buy”.

“5+1” in “5” refers to the original design of dynamic global release show, global original design exhibition, global original design conference, global original design selection and Liber Fashion international light luxury fashion brand operators, “1” refers to the original design of global brand Liber flexible supply chain.

Global original design dynamic release show

The global original design dynamic release show, which serves as a release platform for the four seasons of the fashion week, will make at least 60 times a season, the GTland Plaza which is located at the CBD of Guangzhou is our home court. We launched original fashion brand release show 200 times in four seasons throughout the year, including clothing, shoes, leather goods, accessories, jewelry, beauty and others, the form which includes outdoor show, indoor show, air show, etc..

The dynamic show consists of 3 release site which are main show hall A, indoor atrium show room hall B, sky garden show hall C. The main show hall covers an area of 1000 square meters, the indoor atrium show hall covers an area of 600 square meters, the sky garden show hall is covering about 1000 square meters, the active region is distributed at Autumn Plaza and Winter Plaza of the GTland Plaza.

Global original design exhibition

We launched the “8 days +365 days” model of the global original design exhibition, to create the normal display of showroom throughout the year, which is a unique operation mode of Guangzhou Fashion Week. It is convenient for the buying services, cut down the distance between brands and consumers, truly “no season difference”.

After the exhibition for 8 days, the exhibition will also create an order platform which can complete enough order purchase, namely normal exhibited in 365 days for the global outstanding original designers’ brands, in order to help independent designers to dock buyers.

Global Original Design Coference

Global original design conference is the most important conference of the Guangzhou Fashion Week, it held firstly in Guangzhou on April 2017, aims to explore common industry issues and propose strategic solutions.

The conference includes the creation of the Global Original Design Alliance, the China Development Forum of global original design brands, the flexible supply chain Creation Forum of the global original design industry and the Round-Table Meeting for global original fashion leader in Guangzhou.

We invite famous original fashion designers and global fashion industry insiders to discuss about the trend of the global fashion industry, provide a platform for the communication of designers, and through the fashion week introduced the latest news of fashion industry, let more people to get information and resources related fashion, to boost the overall production capacity of the Pearl River Delta and China fashion industry.

Global Original Design Award

We invite the organizing committee of the Guangzhou Fashion Week, the committee of Chinese Original Fashion Brand Alliance, Guangzhou Fashion Week, a professional jury from Guangzhou Fashion Week, Liber Fashion Group’s Strategic Advisory Committee, the committee of Chinese original fashion brand alliance and the famous  media people to select the awards. There are 12 kinds of awards in total.

Liber Fashion

The purpose of Liber Fashion is to provide Chinese consumers the global original fashion lifestyle products which have the features of unique fashion design, creativity, fun, technology and fashion. Liber Fashion select some designers’ brands which are the most create and commercial in each time of the Fashion Week to retail and brand promotion.

The biggest feature of Liber Fashion is according to the customer’s personal image,  providing the services of dress collocation, style consulting and purchase, etc., to solve the growing market demand.

Liber Flexile Supply Chain

We integrate a series of resources from upstream designs to surface accessories, suppliers, processing bases, logistics and warehousing, in order to product the goods which are designed by global original designers quickly, to meet the need of customer and market.

We have designed a IT system and built a large database, analysis of each part of production operation module of the “fabric + accessories + plate + production + order management + logistics + clearing” by the accurate data, to avoid the lack of inventory, the feedback of information and connecting each part of the supply chain, which can achieve intelligent management. According to business needs, we can provide a set of custom service of the supply chain and operation cooperation mode of butler type. Global Original Design Dynamic Release Show

Global original design dynamic release show of Liber – China(Guangzhou) international Fashion Week, which appeal lots of global original designers come here to release their latest series of design. Global original design dynamic release show is located at Gtland Plaza of Guangzhou, which had held release show about 60 times for 126 fashion brand, including clothing, shoes, leather goods, accessories, jewelry and others.

The opening show is by the Chinese famous designer QI GANG with his original brand named SEC-QI GANG, which release about 80 set of latest clothing of AW of 2017. The concept is “誾杏Ⅱ”. Its design inspiration is from the Gingkgo, which is a carrier for fashion clothing as fluent art. QI GANG use the design technique from both Eastern and Western, through a innovative design, to make a perfect fusion. This series includes many couple clothes and kid clothes with chinese elements.

In addition, there are 2 Italian brands — FRANKIE MORELLO and ANTONY MORATO, which had held the show on April 6th, 2017.

FRANKIE MORELLO is a famous Italian haute couture brand which take part in Milan Fashion Week each season. In the Guangzhou Fashion Week, FRANKIE MORELLO released a series of male and female about 20 sets. The clothes in this season is applied a creative design style with art elements,  use sculpture, oil painting and 3D visual art as the main printing of this season’s clothes.  The image of broken printing increase a sense of mystery.

ANTONY MORATO, another famous Italian haute couture brand, only be designed for fashion males with the style of leisure, freedom and fashion, which is popular in Europe. This brand released more than 30 sets of male clothing in the Guangzhou Fashion Week. Thw main clothes of this season are the printing T-shirt and shirt of the concept of fruits and Floral.

During the closing ceremony, serveral of international famous brands had played the dynamic shows, such as LIE SANGBONG, MAEK CHEUNG and FANGFANG.

MARK CHEUNG was showed 30 sets of new chinese clothes this time. As a artist, painter and designer, Mark Cheung use minimalism for the design of this series. The series of M13 is cut down the disadvantage of chinese tradition, used a clipping with straight line of simple, hale and hearty, chose large amount of comfortable and softy fabric such as cotton, linen, silk and imitation of cotton, linen, silk. It create a sense of hierarchy. Mark Cheung chose deep sapphire blue, deep grey and black as main tonal, with other tonal like white, rice white and light grey. “I hope M13 could match the favour of young people, become deeply intergrated into people’s fashion lives of this era”, Mark Cheung said.

There are 90 sets of female clothes release in the dynamic show, the concept is the lives of earth. The clothes is of the AW series of FANG FANG by Li Xiaoyan. Her design idea is from the red earth of northwest China. The clothes of this series is used cotton line on the fabric to make some of sunflower, the mordern process of hot stamping makes cotton show different luxuriant feeling, which makes an impression.

During the Fashion Week, a lot of mature fashion brands brought their sub-brand to here, injected fresh energy into the diversified fashion market. For example, famous English designer Derek Lawlor and milliner Margaret O’Connor had a cooperative dynamic show, which received a warm welcome from the audience. In addition, Chinese elements are still popular in this Fashion Week, designers looked for inspriration from Chinese culture which has a long history, and create a lot of new idea on materials and design techniques, presents a richer and three-dimensional eastern aesthetics.

“8 days + 365days” showroom; global original design exhibition

Liber-Guangzhou Fashion Week launched the “8 days +365 days” model of the global original design exhibition, to create the normal display of showroom throughout the year, which is a unique operation mode of Guangzhou Fashion Week. The global original design exhibition is located at 4 area of Spring Plaza and Winter Plaza of GTland Plaza, with almost 20000 square meters, which would appeal more than 260 original design brands from home and abroad to release.

Showroom is an important part of fashion industry. It is an mature thing overseas, though there is still a starting condition in China, especially the showrooms which have collected more than 100 designers’ brands are very rare. However, for many buyers and brands, a showroom which can only set for fashion week is no enough to solve the problem of order and sales quickly. The frequency like that can’t meet the requirements of buyers and brands in China.

The 8 days’ static display is a mode of “4+4”,which as buying for professional buyers in the first 4days, sales for the people in the last 4 days. It can make consumers to have fun in buying a real fashion original goods.

The global original design exhibition have collected more than 260 original brands with high quality, the brands are from many countries including Italy, France, America, the UK and some countries from Asia, they are located at Asian Hall, International Hall, International Jewelry Hall, Liber Fashion Hall, including clothing, leather, shoes, bags, jewelry, etc.. there are various kinds of products.

Global Original Design Conference

One of the most important part of the Liber – Guangzhou International Fashion Week is the Global Original Design Conference, which had appeal lots of top original designers from Italy, France, England, America, Netherland and some countries of Asia to take part in it.

In the conference, a international platform was established in Guangzhou, which is named the “Global Original Design Alliance”. Its secretariat is set up in Guangzhou forever. Chinese famous designer Mark Cheung, who has become the winner of Chinese fashion design of  “Jin Ding Awards” twice, was employed for the president of the Global Original Design Alliance. Dr. Li Jihai (the chairman of Guangzhou Fashion Designers Association, the president of the committee of the Guangzhou International Fashion Week) was employed for the executive chairman of the Global Original Design Alliance.

2017 Global Original Design (Guangzhou) Round-table Meeting

As one of the most important part of the Liber – Guangzhou international Fashion Week in 2017, 2017 Global Original Design Round-table Meeting was held at the Four Seasons Hotel of Zhujiang New Town in Guangzhou on April 13th. Cai Chaolin, the deputy mayor of Guangzhou, attended the meeting and made a speech. More than 260 famous original fashion designer from home and abroad attended the meeting by the support of Guangzhou’s government.

The topic of this Round-table meeting is “Join in the global original fashion force, to create Guangzhou into international fashion capital”. The organizers of this meeting are as follow: Ministry of Education’s Institutions of Higher Education Textile Professional Teaching Steering Committee, China Textile Education Association, National Textile Education Steering Committee, China Textile Industry Association Media Center, China Original Fashion Brand Union Committee, Liber Fashion, G.T.Land Plaza.

Representatives of designers from different countries have made suggestions at the meeting, and expressed their support for Guangzhou to become a new international fashion capital.

The fashion industry in Guangzhou is well-known throughout China. Pearl River Delta which heart is Guangzhou, as the world’s clothing distribution center, production base, sales base, has 1/3 of national clothing production enterprises, the output exceeds cover that of 2/3 of national. Also, Guangzhou is one of the China’s biggest production base of leather, shoes, bags and accessories. There are more than 2000 enterprises which process diamonds, inlay and sell jewelry in Guangzhou and its  surrounding areas. The enterprises polished diamond value of over 1 billion US dollars, accounting for more than 70% of China, drive Guangdong province to form the jewelry industry scale with nearly 200 billion RMB.

The diamond jewelry retail market share in Guangzhou and its surrounding areas is of nearly 50 billion RMB, accounting for more than 70% of the country. Guangzhou is one of the most influential exhibition cities in China, which has well-known international exhibitions such as Guangzhou International Fashion Festival, Hairdressing Exhibition and so on, directly guides the fashion consumption culture.

The original designers from all over the world spoke of their city’s fashion experiences and needs. Their enthusiasm at this Round-table meeting is showed off, which not only promotes Guangzhou’s fashion image again, but also brings more fashion resources and global original design resources into Guangzhou.

In the conference, it was further explored how to upgrade a new image and business practice of “Millennium” of Guangzhou, collected the original design of clothing, leather bags, shoes, jewelry and other major global fashion products, to drive Guangzhou become a source of global fashion, and to help the beleaguered fashion industry in Guangzhou comprehensively and seamlessly integrate the international value chain, improve the competitiveness of the fashion industry in Guangzhou, such as clothing, leather goods, shoes, bags and jewelry.

Cai Zhaolin, the deputy mayor of Guangzhou, said that Guangzhou is building an international trade center and will turn the “Millennium trader” into a “modern business”. Guangzhou municipal government will publish a scheme named “the action plan for promoting the development and integration of cultural creativity, design services and related industries”, to further promote the integration of creative industries and related industries in depth, to realize the transformation from factor driven to innovation driven.

We have built a showroom as a trade exhibition platform for large, professional fashion products with tens of thousands of square meters. And we have started the Liber multi brand fashion integrated store, to further realize the localization and efficient commercial operations of the global original design of China.

Also, we have built a supply chain system of global original design during the Guangzhou Fashion Week.
